There are seven basic Chakras in our bodies. Each has a location, a function, an influence, and color. They are the seven centers of energy in the human body.
By meditating we can help ourselves unclog any blockages in each/any chakra. If there is a blockage you will feel it, trust your intuition. It’s a wonderful way to cleanse your body of blockages. If one of your chakras is blocked you will feel a strange sensation, or different feelings, just relax and either stop or continue on by focusing on just that chakra to dig through the blockage.

Any blockage can be worked out and healed. This is why people feel out of balance. One or more of their chakras are usually blocked. When you do the meditation you need to be in a peaceful and quiet place. Below is a simple meditation to help clear blockages.
- Find a Quiet Space: Choose a quiet and comfortable place where you won’t be disturbed for the duration of the meditation. Sit or lie down in a relaxed position, whichever is more comfortable for you.
- Deep Breathing: Close your eyes and begin by taking a few deep breaths. Inhale slowly and deeply through your nose, feeling your abdomen expand, and then exhale fully through your mouth, releasing any tension or stress with each breath.
- Visualize a Flow of Energy: Start by visualizing a bright, glowing light at the base of your spine, at the location of your root chakra. Imagine this light as a warm, vibrant energy that represents security and stability. Allow this energy to flow freely, clearing away any blockages or stagnant energy in this area.
- Move Upwards: Once you feel the energy flowing smoothly at the root chakra, gradually move your focus upwards to the sacral chakra, located just below your navel. Visualize a similar glowing light at this location, representing creativity and emotional balance. Allow this energy to also flow freely, releasing any tension or negativity.
- Continue Through Each Chakra: Repeat this process for each of the remaining chakras, moving upwards through the solar plexus (located in the upper abdomen), the heart (at the center of your chest), the throat (at the base of your neck), the third eye (between your eyebrows), and finally, the crown (at the top of your head).
- Balance and Harmony: As you work through each chakra, focus on creating a sense of balance and harmony within yourself. Visualize the energy at each chakra spinning freely and brightly, aligning with the natural flow of life force energy throughout your body.
- Take Your Time: Spend as much time as you need at each chakra, focusing on clearing any blockages and allowing the energy to flow freely. Trust your intuition and listen to your body’s signals as you work through this process.
- Closing: Once you have worked through all the chakras, take a few moments to simply sit and breathe, allowing the energy to settle and integrate within your being. When you feel ready, gently open your eyes and return to the present moment, carrying with you a sense of balance, clarity, and inner peace.
Remember, consistency is key with any meditation practice. You may find it helpful to incorporate this meditation into your daily routine to maintain balance and alignment within your chakras over time.
